Rindge deserves leadership that is accessible, transparent, and truly representative of all residents. A Selectman’s job is not just to make decisions—it’s to listen, learn, and engage with the people who call this town home.
If elected, I will prioritize open communication and direct engagement with residents to ensure that local government remains responsive and accountable.
Government works best when people are informed and involved. To strengthen communication between the town and its residents, I will advocate for:
1. Quarterly Town Hall Meetings – Dedicated forums for open discussion where residents can voice concerns, ask questions, and receive updates on town matters.
2. A Board of Selectmen Newsletter or Memo – Regular summaries of key decisions, upcoming projects, and financial updates to keep the public informed.
3. Official Social Media & Website Enhancements – Improving the town’s digital presence with clear, consistent updates on town decisions, budgets, and upcoming meetings.
These initiatives will help bridge the gap between town government and residents, ensuring transparency, clarity, and more opportunities for input.
Many town issues become divisive because residents feel left out of the decision-making process. I will ensure that:
1. Major decisions are well-publicized and explained before final votes are cast.
2. Financial updates, project timelines, and policy changes are communicated clearly.
3. Public input is actively considered—not just an afterthought.
Refining the town website will make it easier to access town budgets, Select Board minutes, upcoming votes, and contact information for town officials.
Good governance means making decisions based on what’s best for the entire town—not just for one group, party, or special interest. I will always approach town matters with fairness, professionalism, and a commitment to serving everyone. Whether you’ve lived in Rindge for decades or just moved here, your voice matters - and I will ensure it is heard.
Disagreements are a natural part of governance, but division and hostility don’t solve problems. I will promote respectful, constructive discussions within the Select Board and among residents, ensuring that all perspectives are given thoughtful consideration. My goal is to foster a government culture that is professional, civil, and focused on solutions.
Many decisions affecting Rindge happen at the state level—we need Selectmen who will advocate for our town’s interests in Concord. I will work to ensure that Rindge receives its fair share of funding, infrastructure support, and resources while protecting our local autonomy. Whether it’s securing state funding for local projects or ensuring Rindge’s concerns are represented in regional planning discussions, I will be an active advocate for our town.
Being a Selectman is about more than just making policy - it’s about being a leader who listens, engages, and represents all residents fairly. If elected, I will ensure that Rindge’s government is:
1. Accessible – Residents should feel comfortable reaching out and getting a response.
2. Transparent – Decisions will be communicated clearly, with opportunities for public input.
3. Fair & Respectful – Every resident deserves to have their voice heard and respected.
4. Proactive – Issues will be addressed with thoughtful planning and decisive action.
My goal is simple: to serve the people of Rindge with integrity, accountability, and a commitment to making our town the best it can be.
